Galiano Island Wedding Photographer | J +B
Jen and Blake got married at Bodega Ridge on Galiano Island, and it was such a good fit for them.
They chose a beautiful outdoor ceremony surrounded by ocean views and the Gulf Islands landscape. The whole day felt relaxed and personal, with plenty of time to actually enjoy being with their friends and family.
As a wedding photographer that services Galiano Island, Bodega Ridge is one of those places that makes photographing weddings pretty easy. The forest, open spaces, and views give us lots of options for photos without having to spend the day driving around.
Jen and Blake also had Allie Watters from Across the Watters helping bring everything together as their wedding planner. Having a good planner behind the scenes makes such a difference, especially for an outdoor wedding where there are a lot of moving pieces.
Iβm not big on turning a wedding day into a long photo session. Iβd much rather have couples enjoy their day and let the photos happen naturally. Some of my favourite photos from Jen and Blakeβs wedding were the simple moments β walking together, laughing with friends, hanging out after the ceremony, and all the little things happening in between.
I also worked alongside videographer Wyatt, which was a lot of fun. Itβs always nice when the photo and video teams can work together without getting in the way of the day.
If youβre considering Bodega Ridge for your wedding, itβs an incredible outdoor wedding venue and a beautiful spot for a Galiano Island celebration.
And if youβre planning aGaliano Island wedding or another Gulf Islands wedding, Iβd love to photograph it. Give me a good view, some time outside, and a couple who just wants to have a great day, and Iβm happy. You can contact me here.
