A beautiful, colourful Alberta Wedding Day

Chelsea & David’s wedding was the kind of day that reminds me why I love what I do.

They flew me from Vancouver to Alberta to document their colourful August wedding on a private acreage in Stony Plain, just outside Edmonton—and from the moment I arrived, it felt special. Open skies, late-summer light, and a property that gave them total freedom to make the day their own. Everything felt intentional, vibrant, and full of heart.

The celebration unfolded like a film: bold colours woven through the florals and décor, laughter carrying across the acreage, and quiet, emotional moments tucked between the big, joyful ones. Alberta’s golden light showed off in the best way, giving us those cinematic frames that feel warm, expansive, and timeless. Chelsea & David were completely present with each other, soaking it all in, which made documenting their story feel effortless.
