I love the milder temperatures and less busy days of the shoulder season. My favourite is weekdays, when people are at school and work! I suggest April, May, September or October.

What is your favourite ceremony location at the Park?

My favourite ceremony spot is Spirea for its accessisbility, stunning moss and beautifully straight trees. I also find its one of the quietest spots in the park.

Can I bring my dog to an elopement at Golden Ears?

You absolutely can! Dogs are not welcome at Alouette Lake, but they are welcome at Spirea Nature Trail & North Beach.

What time of day is best for an elopement?

I love early mornings or sunsets to get the beautiful, soft light.

Do I need a day pass to enter Golden Ears?

You do during peak times in the summer months. This is typically on weekend mornings.

Do I need a permit to elope at Golden Ears Park?

You do not need a permit to elope at Golden Ears! It makes it such an easy, affordable elopement location, with no added charges or fees. Sometimes during busy summer months, you need a visitors day pass on weekends and certain weekdays, but it is free to get online.

I usually suggest 2, to get 2 locations really well or 3 to get all the variety offered by the park.
